About Busy Working Momma of 2
I invite you to join me on this wild ride of parenting, working, laughing, and living out loud world I play in!
My life is lived in a recently post-divorce, single mom, shared parenting, full time outside the house working mom of two pre-teen, 2 years apart polar opposite daughters.
I struggle to be late, I applaud when the beds are rarely made, laugh a lot (it’s therapeutic ), read during stolen moments secretly hiding in my closet pretending to hang up clothes, refuse to stop learning, insist on improving and to never ever grow old. My love for my daughters is never ending. I’m more often patient than not (at least today), bluntly truthful and live with Integrity in the shadow of God.
I believe that we must continue to improve ourselves, our environment, our circumstances. We choose our attitude, our behaviors and our responses when we are capable of remaining realistic about the situation. I believe we must constantly seek out and learn from those moments and people in our lives that are truly awe-inspiring, I choose to believe in the goodness of others, positivity and God the Father.
My life is built on humor because if I didn’t find the funny in life I would just fall down and cry.
I work full time, my girls play multiple sports and are on traveling sports teams, do well in school, love music, love/hate each other and they constantly inspire me to want to be a better person and mother.
I learned that turning 40 was liberating and at 43 I’m really liberated!
Being a single mom is really hard. Being the worlds greatest mom is even harder!
Join with me in sharing my and your stories of humor, love, loss, renewal, failure and success in this crazy world of parenting and working. Your work may be outside the home or the ever more difficult stay at home mom world. Your children may be infants, toddlers, elementary school aged or teens, college bound, completely grown, or on the way. Your children might not even be people and instead you parent a pet (pets and children are similar only pets rarely talk back or date). Whatever your past, current or future parenting situation is join in and help us inspire each other. The laundry can wait, life is now.
Aw, this was an incredibly nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to make a very good article…
but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and
don’t seem to get nearly anything done.
